All We Are - Kim Mitchell - SeerMusic Works

Right click to download.

64 MB seermusic file with a good part of the GSO bankset.

Did this a few years ago. The GSO (General Symphony Orchestra) was great for just dropping a MidiFile into, a few hours of tweaking and you had something very interesting.

So load this into Reality, SurReal or Remixer and the save the midifile, dump the midifile into your sequencer and mangle away, love to here what you come up with and another amazing part of SeerMusic is that when you are done, you just upload the bankset without the samples, since we already have them in our wave pool.

My memory is coming back Smile

Enjoy,
Ian

I listen to this often during my time online and here. All the time I search for possibilities inside it. the daunting sound of the Turkish cymbal.

I know I can make this better or newer or something. Maybe not better, maybe more exciting a little with some soul electronique beatz.

Sorry I do understand the 25k strings but i turn them up to 44k and start playing with lfo & filters to get them just right with a random quiver in some place towards the end of a long note. & The scraping red noise adds to the real life feel of strings in the Reality engine. Maaaate....

Yes Im having fun...

The GSO bankset was a work in progress, the 22k strings helped tuck them back a bit in the mix, as I was trying for the 20th row centre type thing. 44k made it sound like you were on stage. Please do make it better Smile or better yet try your own song with it.

Where you areound when we did the 'Hook' orchestra contest?

I'm looking for the GSO bankset (250 MB or so) and will upload it when found.

I'm having fun going thru all the stuff from the old site. We have a ton of info, music and banksets.

btw, adding the Fantasy Rack sf2 to this song would be very cool, never thought of that Smile Very cool electro beats in it.
